The 23rd Annual Ottawa Wine & Food Show

November 7, 8 & 9, 2008 - Lansdowne Park

Joan Culliton, organizer of the Ottawa Wine And Food Show, promises "Something for everyone" with 200 booths presenting wines and foods to tempt your palate (and a number of others presenting gift items to tempt your pocket book), this year's show again promises to be a taster's tour around the world.

A Global Tasting Tour of Wines, Beers & Spirits

One of the many highlights of the Festival is the enormous range of wines, beers and spirits offered to taste and buy. Visit the show and you can savour the aromas and flavours of the latest vintages from France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Cyprus, Greece, Argentina, Chile, Hungary, Australia, South Africa, England, Scotland, Ireland, Belgium, California, New York, Canada as well as from other countries. Talk to the growers, producers and importers about their particular favourites.

Free Tasting Tips

There is an art to making fine wine. There is also an art to recognizing the nuances that go into making such a wine. Make the most of the Festival by asking knowledgeable wine agents and producers all about their wines, how they are made, the characteristics of different grapes and the art of distinguishing the aroma and taste of different wines. You will be surprised at how enlightening these free tasting tips can be.
